Join us for a unique wine tasting experience featuring Mary Taylor, a seasoned wine professional with a passion for Old World wines. Taylor's journey from selling fine wines at auctions in New York to becoming an independent merchant is a story of dedication and love for wine. She has spent nearly twenty years honing her skills and palate, shifting her focus from luxury wines to everyday treasures. Taylor's time in Burgundy, France, where she delved deeply into winemaking, has enriched her understanding of the craft. This event is open to both industry professionals and consumers, offering a rare opportunity to taste and learn from Taylor's expertise.

Bordeaux Bob Shares The Love Of Bordeaux

MAY 22, 2024

“Bordeaux” Bob Cranston is among the most experienced executives in the American Wine Industry.  Over the past 43+ years, Bob has worked in virtually every field in the wine and spirits business.  From his current role as the Managing Partner of MGP Fine Wine in Las Vegas to importing, hotel management, distributor management, restaurant management, retail management, and, of course, several years as a Sommelier.  As “The Wine Authority” (starting in 1994), Bob published a newsletter, had one of the earliest wine websites and hosted and produced “Wine Authority Radio” on KVON AM-1440 in the Napa Valley for four years.  He has managed several wineries in the Napa Valley and his family farms over 500-acres of vines in California’s Lodi Appellation.  He has also been a supplier rep for a few of the world’s most prestigious brands including Remy Martin, Krug, Antinori, Joseph Phelps, Staglin and Riedel.  He is currently writing “The Wine Savage”, his memoirs and life in the wine & spirits industry.  He may not know “everything” about wine, but he’s done just about everything there is to do in the wine industry.
